The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Hon. Ebikeme Clark earlier today supervised the State Government Sanitation in the headquarter of the Local Government Council, Burutu amidst heavy downpour.
While addressing newsmen after the supervision at the Council Secretariat, Chief Clark appealed with the Burutu Community residents to take Sanitation serious while warning that keeping our environments and clearing drainages is his priority to avoid and invariably minimize the level of perceived impending flood disaster that will arise from the opening of the lagdo dam in Cameroon.
He however, frowns at the level with which people responds to the exercise and further urges the residents to improve on it in subsequent Sanitations.
The Chairman also pledges that he is totally committed to this project and that some actions that was condoned today will not be condoned in subsequent ones as he hopes to set up a mobile court to try defaulters that would want to take laws into their hands.
The Chairman was accompanied by the HOD Environment and other principal health officers, Supervisory Councilors, Hon. Members, The Burutu Community Chairman and his team, Military and Paramilitary personnel's in Burutu.
