Ijaw and Igbo Students in Diaspora (Philippines) Endorses
President Goodluck Jonathan and Others
In a press conference yesterday held in Philippines, leaders and members of the Burutu Student Transformation Ambassadors in Disapora and Mbutu Mbaise Students (Imolites) in Diaspora stated, “At this moment, we believe it is best to support or endorse the candidate who has opened dialogues, and seeks a political and negotiated solution to the nation challenges” they continued stating, “our desire is for Nigeria to return to better nation.”
After four years of carefully, methodologically, and consideration of his achievements in our national development challenges, the Burutu Student Ambassadors and Mbutu Mbaise Students in Diaspora wishes to formally endorse the incumbent president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, GCFR, BNER, GCON for re-election as the next president of Nigeria once again.
During the past four year term of his administration, we believe that president Jonathan magnitude in having a sense of humor in protecting freedom of the press, freedom of speech, religious tolerance, and being able to communicate his ideas to the nation are a force to be reckoned with for endorsement. We want to acknowledge that president Jonathan deeply sense the great obligations of his position which he was elected for and advances his great policies with vigor and submissiveness.
We the Ijaw and Igbo diaspora students believe that President Jonathan has a complete knowledge of the problems of his people as a father of the nation. He understands our behavior and attitude that lead us backward in development. We also sense that the president is aware of the greatness of his office and has done his utmost best to discharge his duties with credit to the nation and the international communities.
According to one of the Ijaw Students Leader, Cadet Arerebo Salaco Yerinmene Peter's Jr. " president Jonathan has done a great job in terms of economic development, human capital development e.t.c. We must commend him for the great infrastructural development such as road construction all across the country. He promotes democracy which is a added factors that have given us hope for future prosperity in the coming four years".
"We the Ijaw and Igbo Students in diaspora without reservation endorse the incumbent president Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for a second term and further encourage all patriotic Nigerian voters who value the numerous development projects that President Jonathan has accomplished to cast their votes for President Jonathan on February 14th. We strongly believe that the president has discharged his duties satisfactorily and he has demonstrated to this nation as a dependable hard working leader said my Igbo students leader, Cadet Nwachukwu Remigius Chigozie
Mr. President, we appreciate the energy, the enthusiasm, the resourcefulness and the skills with which you served as a president of our security torn country. Your humanitarian sympathies and inspiring efforts you have always shown always gave us confidence to consider you as an asset to this nation.
We wish to inform you that, during the People Democratic Party (PDP) primary campaign to elect our National representative and Governors we have exercised our sound judgment and a wise decision to elect or mandate Dr. Okowa Ifeanyi as governorship flag bearer Delta State, RT Hon Emeka Ihedioha as PDP governorship candidate of Imo State and Rt. Hon. Julius G Pondi flag bearer Burutu Federal Constituency to secure the symbol of PDP in our States and constituency. It's a move we believe that it is part of your agenda for change. We certainly believe that Rt. Hon. Julius G Pondi will be the first Youth Parliamentarian representing our constituency since we attained independence.
We will celebrate more than ever before on your awaiting victory possibly on February. We wish you good luck.
