JUNE AS A SIGNIFICANT MONTH TO THE IJAW CAUSE - COMR. BINEBAI YERIN PRINCEWILL. 

The month of June appears to be so significant to the subaltern Ijaws of the Niger Delta as it saw the birth of men that matters for the downtrodden Ijaws.

June 1st marked the birth of a great hero and a living legend to the Ijaw liberation movement, Ahlaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo, leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force who has been consistently at the front bunner of our struggle. A quality that makes him stand out as a freedom fighter in our region is his constant pressure on the establishment of Niger Delta Republic hence carrying out the struggle from were Major Boro ended it.

His well thought out arguments at all times in the Nigerian State to liberate the Ijaws is indeed another telling fact to his enormous contributions towards a better living, resource control and self determination movement. Mujahid also stands as one of the most persecuted and living freedom fighter from the Ijaw extraction.He is known for his fearless and dogged nature. Dokubo is like a combination of Adaka Boro and his own Asari's spirits of revolution.

June 2nd is also the day a young emerging Ijaw activist was born, he is from Ayakoromo in Burutu Local Government Area, his horrible, terrific and terrifying experiences in his hometown must have influenced and inspired him on his latest outfit.

AREREBO SALACO YERINMENE PETER'S JR

He is a beneficiary from the GEJ administration under NIMASSA through Patrick Ziakede Akpobulokemi to study maritime courses in Philippine. Haven travelled far away from his country to Asian continent, distance was never a barrier to this young budding lad Arerebo Salaco Yerinmene Peter's Jr who feels the pulse of his neglected people, he is a serious patronizer of social media platforms like facebook and other communicative paradigms to always express his opinion on the state of affairs.

He is an astute believer of the Ijaw cause and is of the opinion that it is indeed possible to realize our age long Ijaw liberation dream.He has also written series of online articles bothering on the youths as nation builders and has emphasized severally on the importance of unity being a catalyst to the movement of self determination. Inline with the struggle, he has also created a blog to advance through online writing. He has explored all mediums within his reach to speak to his people by giving them messages of hope.

Mujahid and Salaco Jr the Jr also welcomes little baby brought into the world by Mr. and Mrs Timi Omoniateide. They also prayed for long life and prosperity for at the moment the known youngest child in Nigeria to be a blessing to his generation.
